Silly little truths to a silly girl

Silly girl. Don’t you know not to give too much of your soul
Don’t you know you’ll have nothing left

You’re too young to grow old by the hands of a man who doesn’t see you as a whole

Silly girl. Don’t you know you’re a star

Not even the depths of the darkest galaxy can wither your shine.

The clouds open at your presence

The ground shakes and quivers beneath every strut

And the waves roar with envy because their vivacious curves is in no comparison to yours

Silly girl. Don’t you know you never needed him to feel special

And even if you were his, you are your own entity

You are a flower child lost in your own world

Silly girl you belong to you and you only.
